Prices for vegetables, despite the season and a new crop, continue to grow. Analysts calculated how many Kazakhs will overpay, who decided to make blanks for the winter.

In Kazakhstan, beets and beans (+ 1% by June), onions (+ 7% in July) and carrots (+ 16% immediately) continue to go up. Another unpleasant "gift" of July is the rise in price of sugar during canning and harvesting for the winter: immediately + 5% per month.

"In July, despite the season and a new crop, the price of some vegetables is again rising in the retail market: carrots have risen to 153.8 tenge per kg, onions to 141.3 tenge per kg, beets and beans to 147.6 and 583.9 tenge per kg, respectively. Natural prices for garlic (-10.9%), cabbage (-13.5%), potatoes (-17.6%) and tomatoes with cucumbers (more than by 20%), "the study said.
